In classical times, different types of patterns were used to decorate many everyday objects such as pots, jars, walls, clothes and even weapons.


THESE ARE  YOUR GREAT PRINTING  PATTERNS

• MATERIALS:

                 - Plasticine/ Clay

                 - Toothpick

                 - Pencil

                 - Paper

                 - Tempera paint

                 - Paintbrush

• STEP 1:

Make a roller with plasticine or clay

• STEP 2:

Design your own pattern and engrave the roller with a pencil or a toothpick.

• STEP 3:

Apply tempera paint to the surface of the roller.

• STEP 4:

Pass the roller over the paper to print the pattern.
